We dachten gisteren nog dat een dekbed niet nodig was maar halverwege de nacht werd het toch een beetje fris en vochtig.
Vandaag gingen we op de fiets naar de stad vanaf de camping. Helaas reden we al direct fout waardoor we een stevige klim hadden. Fietsend naar boven lukte niet, dus maar gelopen met de fiets aan de hand. Het stuk dat we verkeerd gereden waren moesten we weer terug. Dit ging daarentegen heel makkelijk ?. Het was al heel warm. 39 graden, gevoelstemperatuur 41 graden. Normaal denk je: wat een heerlijk zeewindje. Hier denk je steeds: zet die fôhn eens uit. In de stad was het nog goed te doen want in de smalle straten loop je lekker in de schaduw. Bij 2 verschillende zaakjes een aantal pintxos gegeten. Keuze genoeg, het was heerlijk.
Toen hebben we ff gesmokkeld. Sssttt ?. We zijn met de bus (fietsen erin, mondkapje op) de berg Iqueldo opgebracht en toen konden we de berg af racen naar de camping. De hele weg de rem ingeknepen, niet 1 keer getrapt. Kun je nagaan hoe steil het was.
Bij terugkomst op de camping gelijk maar een duik genomen in het zwembad. En ineens begon het een beetje te waaien en koelde het lekker af.
Weer gegeten in het restaurant op de camping. Natuurlijk werden we nog herkend door de leuke eigenaar. Een erg grappige man. Janet een pizza en Jaco albondiga’s. Vandaag maar geen flesje wijn genomen. Morgen vroeg op, op weg naar Bilbao.
